How we build
Simple .md is the first of several. Every one starts with the person using it — the aim is something worth reaching for again and again, and the quiet confidence that your data is never the product. Privacy isn't a feature we added; it's the foundation the rest is built on.
Nothing moves without you
We don't run servers. Nothing you write or record reaches us, because there's nowhere for it to reach. Where an app can sync, share or export, it goes where you told it to — and nowhere else.
The same app, every screen it reaches
Not every app goes everywhere. The ones that do behave the same when they get there — whichever device they started on.
Shipped, then improved
An app ships when it's genuinely useful — not when it's finished, because nothing is. What we won't do is put out a preview and walk away from it.
